S
tudents engage in activities which have been integrated into a number of studies, designed to educate and empower them concerning their own health and wellness. These activities include: videos and discussions, health conscious food selection, daily exercise, and outdoor activities. Each school day is started with a brisk morning walk, designed to invigorate the body, clear the mind, and ready awareness of the beauty that is all around us.
Each afternoon, at the end of the school day, students participate in physical activities including: soccer, dodgeball, relay races, freeze tag, and boma ball among others. These activities are designed to be enjoyable, engaging, and to encourage students to become excited about exercise.
